一部のパノラマカー（7000系）は特急用に改装されました。大きな座席と色付きの床を持ち、赤い車体の白い帯で簡単に見分けられます。前面の展望スペースを持たないパノラマカーの派生系列である7700系も、同様に改装されました。
Some Panorama Cars (Series 7000) were refurbished for limited express services. They have larger seats and colored flooring, and can be easily identified by white bands on the red body. Series 7700, a variation of the Panorama Car without a front observation area, was similarly refurbished.
