1989年から製造された6500系・6800系の第2の仕様は、大きな丸みを帯びた前面窓を持ちます。大きく快適なクロスシートを備えています。扉の上半分は当初白く塗られ、後に灰色となり、現在は赤く塗られています。豊田線・小牧線を除く全ての路線で使われています。
The second variation of series 6500 and 6800, built from 1989, have a large rounded windshield. They have large comfortable cross seats. The top half of the doors were painted in white at first, but later changed to gray, and now painted in red. They are used in every Line but for Toyota and Komaki.
