Series 5000 are renovated from series 1000 'panorama super' in 2008. They have a similar body to series 3300, but their front design is slightly different. Its mechanism is the same as series 1000 and 1200: 150kw motors. They are mainly used in a single trainset (4 cars).名鉄5000系は、「パノラマスーパー」1000系の主要機器を流用して、2008年に登場しました。車体は3300系に順じますが、正面は非貫通で、帯の処理は1200系に近いものになっています。性能は界磁チョッパ・150kwモーターのMT編成です。SR車との連結は可能ですが、専ら単独で運用されています。
