JR東海キハ85系は、非電化の高山本線「ひだ」や紀勢本線「南紀」に使われた特急形気動車です。1989年から2023年まで両列車の輸送を担い、後継のHC85系に置き換えられました。
JR Central KiHa 85 was a limited express diesel train type used for Hida on the Takayama Main Line and Nanki on the Kisei Main Line. It served these routes between 1989 and 2023 before replacement by Series HC85.
