モ600は、美濃町線の新岐阜直通に際し登場しました。機器は旧型車の流用品ながら、600/1500V の複電圧装置と、転換クロスシートを備えた意欲的な設計です。正面は細面ながら、貫通扉を持つ独特なスタイルです。非冷房車のため、800形の投入により4両が廃車されましたが、残る2両は2005年まで活躍しました。
Meitetsu Type 600 appeared when through services from the Minomachi Line to Shin-Gifu began. Although its equipment was reused from older cars, it was an ambitious design with dual-voltage equipment for 600/1,500 V and reversible transverse seats. The narrow front has a distinctive design with a front gangway door. As the cars were not air-conditioned, four were withdrawn following the introduction of Type 800, but the remaining two continued in service until 2005.
