山陽電鉄3000系は1964年に登場し、1985年まで関連車両が製造されました。初期のアルミ車体に加えて鋼製車もあり、機器を流用した3200系や新製冷房の3050系など派生グループを含みます。3両・4両編成で本線や網干線に使われ、車体材質や冷房設備の違いが見られます。
Sanyo Electric Railway Series 3000 was introduced in 1964, with related cars built until 1985. Early aluminium bodies were followed by steel cars, while related groups included Series 3200 with reused motors and factory-air-conditioned Series 3050. Three- and four-car formations served the main route and Aboshi Line, with differences in body material and cooling equipment.
