このページで扱う近鉄1020系列は1991年から製造された、アルミ車体とVVVFインバータ制御を持つ通勤電車です。4両・6両編成があり、1993年からの1026系ではボルスタレス台車が採用されました。奈良・京都線系統や生駒線などに使われ、一部は阪神直通やワンマン運転に対応する改造を受けました。
The Kintetsu Series 1020 family covered here was built from 1991 with aluminium bodies and VVVF inverter control. It included four- and six-car formations, with Series 1026 adopting bolsterless bogies from 1993. It worked the Nara and Kyoto systems and the Ikoma Line, with some cars modified for Hanshin through running or one-person operation.
