After electrification in 2001, the Wadamisaki Line became a commuter route worked by JNR Series 103, introduced in 1963. Series 103 combined four doors, longitudinal seating and resistance control, while JR West Series 207, introduced in 1991, used stainless-steel bodies and VVVF inverter control. The gallery records different generations of electric trains on the short Hyogo–Wadamisaki route.
