207系はJR西日本初の通勤電車です。途中に製造の中断を挟みながら、1991年から2002年にかけて製造されました。デザインは阪急など関西の私鉄の影響を受けています。脱線事故後、外装は濃青と橙に変更されています。
Series 207 is the first commuter train of JR-west. The stock was built from 1991 to 2002, with some breaks. The style is influenced by other private railway companies in Kansai area, such as Hankyu. After the derail accident, the outfit is changed to dark blue and orange.
