国鉄103系は1963年から製造された4扉通勤電車で、関西本線の大和路線では黄緑色の車体が特徴でした。ロングシートと抵抗制御という都市通勤向けの設計を持ち、奈良方面の普通列車などに使われました。車体更新や運転台高さの違いも見どころです。
JNR Series 103 was built from 1963 as a four-door commuter design and wore light green on the Yamatoji section of the Kansai Main Line. Longitudinal seating and resistance control reflected its urban commuter origins, while it worked local services towards Nara.
