9000系は阪神・淡路大震災で失われた車両を置き換えるため、1996年に製造されました。黒い前面を持つ阪神初のステンレス車両です。2009年から阪神なんば線を経て近鉄奈良線へ直通しています。1000系と併結でき、主に快速急行で使われています。
Series 9000 was built in 1996 to replace cars lost in the Hanshin Earthquake. It was the first stainless-steel type with a black front end. Since 2009, the series runs through the Hanshin Namba Line to the Kintetsu Nara Line. It can be coupled with Series 1000 and is mainly used in rapid express services.
