Hankyu Imazu Line in Japan runs near Osaka and Kobe in Japan. The Hanshin-kokudo station was opend at 1927. The southern Imazu Line connects Nishinomiya-kitaguchi and Imazu, with Hanshin-kokudo as its only intermediate station. Opened before the war in 1927, it was an elevated station, which was quite unusual at the time. Because reinforced-concrete construction techniques were still immature when it opened, the elevated structure takes the form of a very long railway bridge. Its basic structure remains unchanged today, having survived wartime damage and earthquakes.
