MI2NはRER網で最も新しい形式の一つです。多数の乗客を収容し、駅での停車時間を短縮するため、二階建て車体と片側3カ所のドアを採用しました。上階は長距離の乗客、下階は短距離の乗客を想定しています。
MI2N is one of the newest types in the RER network. To accommodate large numbers of passengers and shorten station dwell times, it was designed with a double-deck body and three doors per side. The upper deck is intended for long-distance passengers, while the lower deck serves short-distance riders.
