1997年開業の東西線の意匠は、随所に伝統的デザインが取り入れられています。ホームドアは障子をイメージした白い格子、ドアは駅ごとに赤〜紫のグラデーションになっています。
The Tozai Line, opened in 1997, incorporates traditional designs throughout. Its platform doors have white latticework inspired by shoji screens, and their colours vary from red to purple from station to station.
