都営10-000形は1971年の試作車を経て、1978年から新宿線の営業運転に使われました。初期の6両編成はのちに8両化され、京王線への直通列車にも使用されました。長年の増備や更新を経て、2018年に運用を終えました。
Toei Series 10-000 followed a prototype built in 1971 and entered Shinjuku Line passenger service in 1978. Initial six-car trains were later lengthened to eight and also worked through services onto the Keio network. Successive batches and refurbishment kept the type in use until 2018.
