Series 6050 is designed for rapid service in Isesaki and Nikko line. They have only two doors in a side with cross seats, which is unique as Japanese stocks. Older groups are renovated from series 6000, but newer groups are newly built. They are also used as local services in Yagan and Aidu line.東武6050系は、伊勢崎線・日光線での長距離快速用の車両で、私鉄では珍しい2扉クロスシートの一般車です。非冷房6000系の車体更新車と、完全新製車のグループに分かれます。性能的には 8000 系に準じます。2 連で、快速として浅草まで乗り入れるほか、日光線・野岩鉄道・会津鉄道でのローカル運用も担当します。
