新京成8000形は1978年に営業運転を開始し、2021年まで使われた通勤電車です。ベージュに茶色の帯を配した塗装は1979年以降の増備車から採用され、のちには京成千葉線直通に合わせた赤茶色の帯などに変更されました。
Shin-Keisei Series 8000 entered service in 1978 and remained in use until 2021. Beige paint with brown stripes became standard on sets added from 1979, later giving way to schemes including maroon stripes associated with Keisei Chiba Line through services.
