東京メトロ16000系は2010年に千代田線で営業運転を開始しました。10両編成に永久磁石同期電動機を採用し、省エネルギー化を進めた車両で、製造途中からは前面貫通扉の位置や車内設備にも変更が加えられました。
Tokyo Metro Series 16000 entered Chiyoda Line service in 2010. The ten-car trains use permanent-magnet synchronous motors to reduce energy consumption, with later batches changing the front gangway door position and interior equipment.
