Tokyo Metro Marunouchi line is the second oldest subway in Tokyo. The construction has startted before the WW2, its opening was in 1954 (after the war). Near Myogadani, Korakuen, Ochanomizu and Yotsuya, the line comes out to the surface, and soon gets back underground. Comparing to Ginza line, slightly larger stock is used, but they are electically compatible. Series 02 is the only stocks running in the line, but series 01 also run when they need checkout in Nakano depot.東京メトロ丸ノ内線は、銀座線に続き東京で二番目に古い地下鉄です。計画は戦前からあり工事も一部進んでいたものの、開通は戦後の1954年です。茗荷谷・後楽園・お茶の水・四谷では少しだけ地上を走るのが面白いです。銀座線より僅かに大きな02系が唯一の形式ですが、01系も中野工場への入場時には走行します。現在では各駅にホームゲートが設置されており、2008年からはワンマン運転が始まります。
