The Ginza line, opened in 1927, is the oldest subway in Japan. It is the busiest subway in Tokyo, since it connects the new center (Shibuya) to the old town (Ginza, Ueno and Asakusa). The construction technique was immature when built, stocks are small and each trainset contains only 6 cars.銀座線は1927年に開業した、日本で一番古い地下鉄です。駅や車両はきれいですが、天井の低さやリベットだらけの柱に歴史を感じます。16m 車体に6両編成で、昼間でも頻繁に運転されています。開業から戦後にかけては様々な形式が使用されてきましたが、やがて2000系に統一され、現在は01系が使用されています。
