京急2000系は、快特用として1983年に製造されました。クロスシートと片側2扉を備えていました。1998年に2100系が登場した後、ロングシート・片側3扉へ改造されました。合計72両が製造され、後に急行や普通列車で使用されました。
Keikyu Series 2000 was built in 1983 for rapid limited express services. The trains had transverse seats and two doors per side. After Series 2100 was introduced in 1998, they were refurbished with longitudinal seats and three doors per side. A total of 72 cars were built and later used on express and local services.
