シンガポールのMRT（Mass Rapid Transit）は1987年に開業し、現在6路線・130以上の駅を持つ東南アジア有数の都市鉄道です。全線標準軌で第三軌条集電方式を採用し、一部路線は完全無人自動運転です。車両は川崎重工・アルストム・ボンバルディアなど各国メーカー製が混在しています。
Singapore's MRT opened in 1987 and now comprises 6 lines with over 130 stations, one of Southeast Asia's largest urban rail networks. All lines use standard gauge with third-rail power collection, and some lines operate fully automated. Rolling stock comes from manufacturers including Kawasaki, Alstom, and Bombardier.
