JR東海211系5000番台は、国鉄時代の211系を発展させた近郊形電車です。ステンレス車体に片側3扉とロングシートを備え、名古屋・静岡地区の地域輸送を担いました。
JR Central Series 211-5000 developed the JNR Series 211 suburban design. Stainless-steel bodies, three doors per side, and longitudinal seating suited regional services in the Nagoya and Shizuoka areas.
