1980年に登場したモ880は、美濃町線末期の主力でした。600/1500V の複電圧車で、連接式の車体を持ちます。一枚窓の正面デザインは、770形、780形にも引き継がれました。現在は福井鉄道で活躍しています。800形は部分低床車として2000年に製造されました。870形は札幌市から移ってきた車両で、軽快なスタイルが特徴でした。
Meitetsu Type 880, introduced in 1980, was a mainstay of the Minomachi Line in its final years. It had an articulated body and dual-voltage equipment for 600/1,500 V. Its single-pane front design was carried over to Types 770 and 780. It now operates on Fukui Railway. Type 800 was built in 2000 with a partially low-floor body. Type 870 came from Sapporo and was distinguished by its light-looking design.
