Most limited express in Tenjin-omuta Line are served by series 8000 from 1989. It has winded large windshield and comfortable large seats. A trainset consists of 6 cars, which is the longest in Nishitetsu. Newer express 3000 are put into service, but series 8000 still occupies the flagship position.西鉄8000系は、1000系、2000系に次ぐ特急車として1989年に登場しました。流線型のスマートなデザインに大きな窓ガラス、転換クロスシートの車内など、優れたデザインと接客設備を持ちます。6両固定編成を組み、特急専用車として用いられます。3000系の登場後も、西鉄のフラッグシップとして活躍しています。
