Series 207 is the first commuter train of JR-west. The stock was built from 1991 to 2002, with some breaks. The style is influenced by other private railway companies in Kansai area, such as Hankyu. After the derail accident, the outfit is changed to dark blue and orange.207系はJR西日本初の通勤形電車で、1991年から10年以上に亘って製造されました。化粧板の多用・スタンションポールの無い袖仕切りなど、関西私鉄の車両を強く意識した内装を持ちます。裾絞りの車体は、その後JR東日本の209系500番台にも採用されました。脱線事故による塗色変更前後の撮影です。
