阪急3100系は1964年に登場した宝塚線用の電車で、神戸線用3000系と車体設計を共通化しながら走行性能を変えていました。昇圧に対応した抵抗制御車で、宝塚線のほか支線にも転用されました。写真は方向幕を装備した姿です。
Hankyu Series 3100 was introduced in 1964 for the Takarazuka Line, sharing its body design with Series 3000 but using different performance specifications. These resistance-controlled trains were prepared for the voltage increase and later also worked branch services. The photographs show cars fitted with destination blinds.
