Ueno and Asakusa station were opened in 1927. Since the reinforced concrete technology was immature, poles between two trackes were made of steal. Although some refurblishment were taken into place, burly structure are the same as before.銀座線の上野〜浅草間は、1927 年に開業した、日本でもっとも古い地下鉄です。当時は鉄筋コンクリートの技術が未熟で、駅の中柱には鉄骨が用いられています。耐震工事や車両の増結はあるものの、上野駅や浅草駅の構造物は、開業時の雰囲気を今に伝えています。
