T-bane is the name for the subway/metro in Oslo. Since Oslo is a rather small city as a capitol, not so much carrying capacity is needed. Thus, cars are designed to be small, and normally one train consists of 3 cars.
The western part of line 1 and 4 are rather classified into LRT. It has overhead power supplying system, comparing to the third-rail system in other lines. Trains change the source of the electricity in the juction stations. |

| In the center of Oslo, there are only 2 tram lines, but they are spread both in the western side and in the eastern side. Mostly two types of cars are used: SL95 and SL79. Because of the mountainuous land and narrow roads, some lines take tricky routes. | NSB takes charge of most trains in Norway. Most rolling stocks are completely identical to other country's train, but El18 is designed in Switzerland and used in many countries. |
