MI2N is the newest type in RER. To fulfill demand to acomodate large amount of passengers and to shorten the stopping time in a station, it is designed to have a double-deck body with 3 doors in a side. While the upper deck is for long-distance passenfers, the lower deck is for short-distance passengers.MI2N系は、パリRER最新の車両です。26mの大きな車体を生かし、三扉・二階建てという日本では見られない構成を取っています。E線の車両では、遠距離客を二階、近距離客を一階に分離するため、中央扉からは1階にしかアクセスできません。ドア幅は2mあり、二階建てながらスムーズな乗降を実現しています。
